Where We've Been

The MVP Launch (June 2024)

In June, we proudly launched our Minimum Viable Product (MVP), laying the foundation for the platform you see today on game.sapien.io. The success we had with user acquisition in this first launch not only validated our vision but also provided us with invaluable feedback from our early users as we move forward with some very interesting and exciting new features.

Accuracy & Feedback

One of our top priorities is ensuring the highest level of accuracy in the data labeling process. We've implemented several strategies to achieve this:

• Sampling segments of tags: This allows us to continuously monitor the quality of the work being done and identify any potential issues.
• Robust QA workflow: We've developed a comprehensive QA process, comprised of hands-on teams of QAers, ensuring that our labels meet a higher industry standard
• Confirmed points vs. pending points: To further enhance accuracy, we've introduced a system that differentiates between confirmed and pending points. Pending points turn into confirmed points once our QA team reviews tagging accuracy. This allows for more granular accuracy scoring and helps us identify areas for improvement.

Engagement

We've also been working hard to keep our users engaged and excited about the Sapien experience. Here's a glimpse of our efforts:

• We've introduced gamified elements and deeper integration of epic calling and meaning to make the experience more fun and rewarding.
• In anticipation of upcoming partnerships, we've been working on improving our ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to handle larger datasets efficiently. We've also expanded our task offerings to ensure a continuous flow of data for our users.

Metrics

To make data-driven decisions and continuously improve our platform, we've implemented a robust internal tracking system. We monitor various metrics to assess performance and identify areas for optimization. We’re also excited to announce our plans to launch a user profile including a tagger-facing metrics dashboard. This will empower users to track their accuracy, time per tag, and other key performance indicators. Hand in hand with this user profile page, Sapiens will have access to a feedback page where they can view real feedback on their tags from our team of QAers.

We're also introducing a leaderboard to foster healthy competition and encourage users to strive for excellence, coming very soon to the Sapien experience.

Amplitude has been instrumental in helping us make data-driven product decisions. We leverage its powerful analytics capabilities to conduct feature flags, A/B tests, and more. This data-driven approach ensures that we're always moving in the right direction.

Where We Are

V1 & V2 of the Interface: Laying the Groundwork for Web3 Integration

As we continue to build our Web3 community, we're also making significant strides in developing our interface. We've already made early shifts toward Web3 integration by introducing Crypto wallets and multipliers.

Building Our Web3 Community

We believe that a strong community is essential to the success of any platform, especially in the Web3 space. We've been actively building our community through partnerships with Web3 communities like YGG and collaborations with influencers and KOLs.

Staking and Web3 Mode

We're excited to introduce staking features, avatars, interoperable assets, and a dedicated Web3 mode in the user interface. This will provide users with additional opportunities to earn rewards and participate in the Web3 ecosystem.

Telegram Integration

To tap into the vast decentralized user base of Telegram, we're embedding our game into the platform. This will make it easier for users to access and participate in Sapien. Stay tuned for more updates about this exciting integration!

Guilds and Community Interaction

We're also working on new seasons of partnerships with YGG to leverage their guild structure. Additionally, we will be empowering users to create and manage their own guilds based on networking, skills, and badges. Our goal is to make Sapien an interactive and community-driven space at every stage.
